The TWO coordinators for 2014 are Thea Mink and Eloise Libre. You can contact them at TWO@tufts.edu
Thea Mink - Program Coordinator
Thea has been a part of TWO since her freshman trip to Maine in 2010. She since became a member of support staff and a two-time backpacking leader. She hails from the highest natural point in Washington, DC, which explains her love for escaping into New England’s mountains. While at Tufts she has become hooked on whitewater kayaking, choreographing, and bird watching. She will graduate in May with a BS in Biology. TWO has been a formative part of Thea’s college experience, and she is so very excited to welcome incoming Tufts students with an extraordinary pre-orientation program!
Eloise Libre – Program Coordinator
Eloise got involved with TWO as a freshman in 2010 as a participant on one of the fabulous canoe trips. Since then, she was a member of Support Staff in 2011, led a backpacking trip in 2012, and, in 2013, came full circle and led the very canoe trip that she went on as a freshman! Though she hails from suburban Connecticut, Eloise has a special connection to the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks, where she spent much time with her family growing up hiking, skiing, and generally frolicking in the woods. Eloise loves museums, summer camp, the New York Times, exclamation marks, and Orbit WinterMint gum. She is super stoked about working for TWO after graduating in May with a BA in History, and is thrilled to meet the next generation of Jumbos!
Christa Ricker- Program Director
Christa joined TWO in the spring of 2012. She is a native of NH with a love for all things outdoors, but most specifically bouldering and winter camping. Christa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire and is currently pursuing her Master’s in the same program, which she recently learned is considered a “double wildcat”. Awesome.
Christa’s main focus in her college studies was on college Outdoor Orientation Programs, and she is so happy to put that passion to use here at Tufts!
